Florida Gaspack is a potent hybrid created by crossing Chem ’95 with the OG Kush “Florida Cut” (also known as The “Triangle” OG). While it is classified as a 75% indica strain, it tends to exhibit more of a sativa growth pattern. Florida Gaspack is highly regarded for its potency and attractive appearance.
The plants have a tall, lanky structure, though they are vigorous and can double in height during the flowering stage. Growers and trimmers will appreciate the high ratio of calyx to leaf. Indoors, Florida Gaspack flowers for approximately 8-9 weeks, yielding around 400-450 grams per square meter. Its structure and narrow leaves make it well-suited for techniques like Sea of Green (SoG) and Screen of Green (SCRoG). Double trellising is recommended, with lower growth pruned to redirect energy to upper growth.
For outdoor cultivation, plants should be caged and trellised for additional support. While Florida Gaspack is slightly susceptible to powdery mildew, this can be mitigated by removing inner growth to improve airflow. The strain thrives in arid, desert climates and at higher altitudes, as long as there is minimal rainfall. Outdoor plants can reach heights of 450 cm and are typically ready for harvest in early to mid-October in the northern hemisphere, yielding up to 4000 grams per plant or more.
Florida Gaspack boasts a complex aroma, combining fuel, acetone, and chemical cleaner scents with spicy citrus, peppermint, pine, lemongrass, and mint notes. With THC levels ranging from 24-26% or higher, the effects of Florida Gaspack begin with a cerebral buzz that transitions into a deeply relaxing, couch-locking sensation. It is ideal for unwinding at the end of a long day and is also useful for pain relief.
